What to do if the bottle is too small for the source you want to measure or if the water flow is too fragmented?
To measure the flow rate of sources where the bottle is too limited, containers with a larger volume can be used, provided it is known, and with larger openings (e.g. a simple bucket). If the flow is difficult to collect completely, an estimate can be made by collecting the point of greatest flow. For sources where it is impossible to measure the flow rate, it is always possible to acquire information on position, presence or absence of water, photographs, and possibly conductivity and temperature if equipped with a conductivity meter.
