During the month dedicated to SpringBlitz, participation in the spring monitoring campaign exceeded all expectations!

We collected 309 monitoring reports, about three times the average monthly number, thanks to the commitment of our volunteer members from all over Italy. This result represents a huge increase in data collection and an important step forward in understanding and protecting our springs.

In addition to the data, we have received 41 water samples, carefully sent by participants from all corners of the country, and we are expecting a few more in the coming days. The bottles will now be delivered to the CNR in Pisa, where they will undergo stable water isotope analysis.

We are very pleased with the participation and would like to thank everyone who contributed, both with data and samples.
We will soon begin working on a detailed report, which will provide an up-to-date and valuable overview of the health of the monitored springs.
