On the occasion of World Water Day 2025, the Bergamo area was the protagonist of numerous initiatives dedicated to the protection and enhancement of natural springs.
Uniacque and various sections of the Italian Alpine Club actively collaborated on the AcquaSorgente project, proposing a series of excursions, monitoring activities and moments of reflection open to citizens of all ages.

Through the detection of physical parameters and the use of the AcquaSorgente app, volunteers collected valuable data to deepen the knowledge and protection of local water resources. The initiatives also aimed to highlight the cultural and environmental value of the springs, fundamental elements of a natural heritage that belongs to everyone.

An important sign of how collaboration between institutions, associations and communities can strengthen awareness of water as a precious and irreplaceable resource.
